Mission Statement

all based on the Serenity Prayer

God grant me the courage to change the things I can

We will bring the courage to those who are afflicted with this dreaded, deadly disease to:

Educate others so that the truth about opiate addiction is brought to light. 80% of heroin users today started with prescription painkillers.

Communicate that this disease will no longer thrive in darkness. Healing begins with just one talk.

Our goal is one day at a time, one person at a time, and one act of kindness at a time. That is Jake’s Reach.

Who We Are

Welcome to Jake's Reach, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing hope to individuals and families affected by addiction.

Our mission is driven by the spirit of recovery, empowering individuals in rehabilitation to give back through volunteerism. Each month, we host food and clothing drives, serving approximately 100 people in need. Beyond immediate assistance, we help individuals rebuild their lives by restoring suspended licenses, securing insurance, finding affordable housing, and aiding in job searches.

We prioritize education and communication to support families torn apart by addiction, offering resources and guidance towards reunification.

We are proud partners with IBH and will establish a presence in their new facility at main street and Firestone Park boulevard, starting in the summer of '21. This partnership emphasizes our commitment to providing comprehensive aftercare services for individuals transitioning from IBH's home facility.

Join us in our mission to extend hope and support to those navigating the journey of addiction recovery.
